Bus Stop Enhancement Project

Upgrading Public Transportation Stops

Noticing the tired state of our community’s bus stops, the Foundation undertook a bus stop enhancement project, and now 14 bus stops have crisp green benches on which to sit while waiting for buses. All stops have new green pole sleeves and several stops have new trash cans.

The previous benches were wooden and worn. It was time for a change. This project was successfully completed thanks to community donors and in collaboration with the Santa Barbara Metropolitan Transit District. This initiative adds not only beauty, but is also a thoughtful investment for our community’s bus commuters.
